BHP produced its first high profile scripted series MR MIDNIGHT for Netflix, a Top 10 series in Southeast Asia, and has since developed a diverse East meets West slate. Beach House Pictures has been in business with Chinese platforms and producers for two decades and established a permanent production office in Beijing in 2016, now headed by General Manager Felix Feng. In the early years, BHP China focused on China to the World co-productions with partners such as CICC, CCTV, Nat Geo and Discovery, distributing made in China non-scripted content globally. It has since expanded to add premium original documentaries made for Chinese audiences and streamers such as Tencent, Bilibili and Youku.
